Just as the name implies this albino redwood is very brilliant in appearance. Only seen in aerial form, the mutation has been found in and out of the natural range. Like other aerial albinos, its suspected that excessive xanthophyll production may be the cause for its egg yolk yellow coloration.

When this aerial albino redwood is put in perspective, you can see that it appears very small compared to the overall size of the tree. This bright yellow albino redwood measures approximately 2X2' in size.
